The first Derby of the weekend sees the reigning champions host Western United, and there is a case to be built for both sides.
City proved too good for the travelling Roar in Week 1, but they were forced to settle for a draw on the road in Adelaide last week, having had that side on the ropes at the 70th minute.
Western United were defeated by the Victory in Week 1, but I have a sneaking suspicion that Tony Popovic’s side might be really good, and they did manage to record a tough win over the Glory in Week 2.
I personally believe that City are under the odds as such firm favourites in the market, and while I do think that Western United are a chance of winning, I am going to hedge my bets a little.
