Meanwhile, the Dragons played a strong second half, scoring the final three tries of the match to beat the Warriors 28-16 thanks to a hat-trick from Mikaele Ravalawa, breaking a Queensland hoodoo in the process.
The Red V have lost Aaron Woods to a hamstring injury, with Francis Molo named as his replacement in their only change to the starting 13.
Moses Leota is missing for the Panthers, who have promoted Spencer Leniu to starting prop in his absence with Matt Eisenhuth joining the interchange.
