Preview:

Penrith look to keep their mid season revival going with a fifth straight win as they travel to Auckland to play the Warriors. Victories against Parramatta, Manly, Sydney and South Sydney has seen Penrith as one of five teams on 12 points and one game outside the top eight. Their awful for and against, which sits at -94, is counting against them at the moment as they are in 14th spot on the table. The Warriors are one of those other five teams on 12 points, but at 5-8 will want a better second half of the season than the first. Their last game saw them beat the Titans 24-20, after leading 10-0 early in the match.

In their round 10 clash at Panthers Stadium, it was all Warriors. The underdogs piled on the points thick and fast, leading 24-0 before a couple of late consolation tries by Penrith saw the match end 30-10. It was Penrith’s worst showing of the season, as the Warriors scored with ease and the home side missed a whipping 52 tackles.

Tohu Harris is out for the Warriors, with Jazz Tevaga replacing him in the second row. Sam Lisone and Leivaha Pulu are the new men on the interchange. Nathan Cleary’s ankle injury suffered in Origin sees him out of this one, replaced by Jerome Luai. The Wolf knows the loss of Cleary is a big one, but James Maloney stepped up big time in Origin and can pick up the slack when it comes to goal kicking. Five on the trot for the Panthers!
