Melbourne Storm vs Canberra Raiders Preview

A 4th vs 5th battle awaits on Sunday between two sides that are more than familiar with one another.

In what could easily go down as a modern-day rivalry, the Raiders will be shooting for a third straight win over the Storm, and perhaps more importantly, a spot inside the top four.

Canberra was far from convincing in last week’s win over the Tigers, conceding two second half tries on the back of Sebastian Kris’ early dominance.

By the same token, Melbourne Storm once again proved they are a step below reigning premiers Penrith, failing to build on an early try whilst committing plenty of errors and sloppy missed tackles.

Storm fans will be pleased to head back to AAMI Park for this one, a factor that holds more weight than it might seem.

The Storm have won six in a row at their home ground, but the Raiders have covered in their last five away trips.

Sporting the league’s best conversion rate, the Raiders look a nice value play to add to that record with a big line on offer.
