Preview:

The competition’s two worst teams go at it on Saturday night on the Gold Coast when the Titans host the Dragons. It’s been a shocking season for both clubs, who sit 16th and 15th on the table respectively.

The Dragons miserable season continued at the SCG last Sunday when they were hammered 42-14 by the Tigers. The Titans didn’t fare much better, smashed by the Knights 38-4.

AJ Brimson will play in the halves, with Tyrone Peachey shifting to the centres. An injury to Moeaki Fotuaika sees the promising forward miss the final game of the season, replaced by Jai Arrow at prop.

Cameron McInnes suffered a broken leg in round 24, which is shattering news for the league’s top tackles man. Corey Norman will play at fullback, with Reece Robson in at hooker as one of a number of positional shifts for Saints.

The Titans will be out to avoid an 11th straight loss, but how can The Wolf possibly tip them? They’ve been atrocious by every measure this season and lost to the Dragons a month ago 40-28 at Kogarah. They are 6-17 agains the spread overall and this is the lowest handicap start they’ve had in more than two months. The lesser of two bad teams should win this, and that’s St George.
