Cronulla Sharks vs St. George Illawarra Dragons Preview

The Sharks step out in Round 21 following a thrilling win over South Sydney, and they can keep the pressure on the top two with a win over the Dragons.

They’ve been thereabouts since the beginning of the season, and I’ve been really impressed by the patience and resolve displayed by Craig Fitzgibbon’s men. Many clubs wouldn’t have been able to overcome South Sydney in current form, but they were duly rewarded for doing so.

The wheels well and truly fell off the Dragon wagon in Round 20, meanwhile, and I think they’ll very much struggle to make the eight. It was the manner of their loss, at home to the Cowboys, and this really isn’t anything of an easier task for them.
