The Sharks have their backs to the wall on the back of five straight losses as the team from the Shire have slipped to 11th on the table. Last round’s 19-18 loss to the Warriors in Wellington sums up Cronulla at the moment, with an Andrew Fifita brain snap gifting the Warriors a game-tying penalty, with his sin bin proving costly, as Blake Green slotted a field goal to win the game for the Kiwi side.
Matt Moylan is out with Josh Dugan coming in, while Josh Morris returns at centre. Young prop Braden Hamlin-Uele is starting in place of Fifita.
The Cowboys more than held their own for 70 minutes against the Bunnies, but three late tries squashed any hopes they had of victory as they simply collapsed late. They are tied with the Sharks on 16 points and despite just 7 wins this season, find themselves a game outside the top eight.
Michael Morgan is out once again with concussion for a second straight game, with the starting 17 from the Bunnies game retained.
Cronulla is riding a two game winning streak against the Cows, beating them by 26 points in Townsville in round 3, with 5 tries in 17 minutes after half time the difference maker. The Wolf thinks this game should be a lot tighter than in round 3, but without their captain and playmaker, the Cows will struggle against a Sharks team that surely has to show up.
