Canterbury has put together its best stretch of the season in recent times, winning three of its last five games, including last weekend’s 16-8 win against Penrith. This week they host another top eight hopeful in Wests Tigers at ANZ Stadium in a must-win for the Tigers if they hope to keep their spot in the eight.
A 28-4 win against North Queensland was Wests’ second on the trot, but they bring a mixed recent record against the Dogs into this one. Canterbury sprung a 22-8 upset against the 2-0 Tigers in round three at Campbelltown, with the Doggies winning their past two games against the Tigers.
Wests are one of the league’s best teams covering the spread 12 times, with Canterbury covering 9 times in 2019.
The only line up change for either side comes from the Dogs, with Adam Elliott out and Raymond Faitala-Mariner in.
The Dogs recent play has been impressive, but the Tigers have more to play for and The Wolf expects them to take care of business on Saturday night.
