The fourth-placed Bulldogs have looked a bit off of recent and could very much fall out of the top four if they go down to third-placed Port Adelaide who has won eight of their last nine.
The Bulldogs have had two very off-brand losses in recent weeks and injures to the likes of Josh Bruce along with the poor losses have some questioning if they have done their dash early?
Their opponents, Port Adelaide, have timed their run brilliantly.
Despite a fast start from Carlton in the first quarter last week, the Power piled it on booting 19 goals in succession and helping themselves to a 95-point win.
With the game being played at Marvel, the Western Bulldogs will open the betting as favourites but the Power’s record at the ground stands at 4-0 this season.
Port are in form and would love any chance to sneak into the top two to ensure the double home final.
