Western Bulldogs vs North Melbourne Kangaroos Preview
The Wolf is going to ignore the Round 3 clash between these two teams, as we’ve seen a much more improved North Melbourne side as the season has gone on under David Noble.
The Western Bulldogs were simply sensational in Round 15 – forced to quarantine for a week in Perth, they were dominant against the Eagles at Optus Stadium. But returning from Western Australia coming up against the bottom team, there’s the potential for a flatter performance coming off such a high and with the line currently set at 50.5 it’s not something The Wolf is keen to take.
The Bulldogs will be too good, but I’m happy to take North Melbourne +50.5 in this. They’ve covered the line in seven of their last eight games including their last four, and since Round 7 they’ve had just the one loss by 50+ points.
Expect the Kangaroos to do enough to stay within 50 points of the Bulldogs.
