Chris Scott’s side has endured a tough month, compounded with a third straight loss from four games last week in narrow fashion against rivals Collingwood.
Jeremy Cameron returning to form is one positive, but against the defensive-minded Saints, this still shapes as a fascinating match up with so much at stake.
A month ago, the Saints appeared the most vulnerable team sitting inside the eight, but three wins from their last four has done enough to steer the ship in the right direction.
Max King’s accuracy in front of goal and Jack Sinclair’s form has gone a long way, but perhaps more importantly, the Saints still remain one of the most efficient teams when it comes to disposals and tackling.
