Nat Fyfe is firing on all cylinders as one of the Brownlow fancies and Freo had its best win in some time when it toppled the league-leading Cats last round at home.
They travel east for this match against the Saints on Sunday as underdogs, with their finals hopes hanging in the balance. Although unlikely to feature in the finals, this is a must win for the Dockers if they hope to jump into the eight.
After winning two on the trot, the Saints lost by 22 points in Adelaide last weekend, but were always within touching distance of the Crows.
Freo’s last visit to Marvel Stadium a fortnight ago was a horror show as they were thumped by the Dogs, but they are 1-1 against the spread at the ground this season.
The Dockers squeezed over the line by five points in their round three meeting in Perth this season after leading at every change, despite the Saints having five more scoring shots. The Saints have won three of their past four against the Dockers in Melbourne, but The Wolf is backing the purple haze to get one over the hosts and make it 2-0 this season.
