Speaking of safe bets, there’s no safer bet right now in football than backing North Melbourne at the line.

The Kangaroos have covered the line in each of their nine matches, not to mention the fact that Richmond has lost their past five games as a favorite.

Thinking “Surely, the Tigers don’t drop this one” has become more frequent this season, only to have them do just that.

The Tigers lost an ugly yet thrilling game against Freo last week, with poor goalkicking being a problem for both sides.

If Richmond can kick straight, perhaps they’ll win it, but not even playing at the MCG has been kind to the Tigers this year, they haven’t won at the home of football since Round 7.

I’m not prepared to go all the way and back the Kangaroos for an outright upset, however many would argue they have been a better team than the Tigers in recent weeks.

However, a line of 15.5 points means the Roos can make it 10 in a row for this betting market.
