If the Roos can end their season with a win on Saturday afternoon in Hobart they will reach double figure wins in 2019 after a slow start to the season. They are favourites to do just that against a miserable Demons side that’s claimed just five victories in 2019 after being preliminary finalists last season.
North bounced back from their historically poor showing against the Cats in round 21 where they scored just 14 points to beat Port by 86 points. Tall forwards dominated that match, with Ben Brown booting 10 goals and Nick Larkey getting a bag of five. The Dees woes continued as they lost by 53 points to the Swans as favourites at the ‘G.
The Kangaroos are just 1-2 at Blundstone Arena this season, but boast a 14-5 record at the ground since 2009, covering the line 14 times. The Dees have played just once at Blundstone Arena in the past decade, losing by four points.
Melbourne has won just one of its past five against North, but did taste victory in round three when they won by 37 points. The Wolf senses the Roos will turn the tables this time and have a big win at the home away from home. The Dees have well and truly switched off for the season and will be hanging out for the off-season.
