The annual big freeze game being played in Sydney will feel a bit weird, but hopefully the good folk of the Harbour City do it justice.

Collingwood can also breathe a sigh of relief, given yet another game under not pedantic at all and certainly not over-the-top quarantine conditions from a state government, and they are a Jamie Elliott-inspired Magpie outfit won a thriller against the Crows.

Based on form, you’d expect Melbourne to be thrashing the Pies in this contest, however, Collingwood will be finding a way to slow the game down ensuring as few scoring opportunities as possible.

It could turn out to be a really shocking keepings-off, high-possession type match to watch.

How fitting that style of play would be for Nathan Buckley’s last game as coach of the Magpies.
