It was always going to be a tough year for Hawthorn after they offloaded plenty of experience during the off season.
There are plenty that believe they will be the easybeats throughout the season on the back of two big losses in the first couple of weeks.
Are they simply too young? They certainly lack any real experience which is hurting them defensively.
It was hard to not be super impressed which North Melbourne when they travelled to Perth to take on the Dockers last weekend.
The score flattered Fremantle and it was only three very late goals that had them in the game.
They have found a couple of superstars in the making with Harry Sheezel and Luke Davies-Uniake who are shouldering the bulk of the midfield at the moment.
North Melbourne have started the season really well but I couldn’t possibly tip them at such a short price until I get a bigger sample size of football.
