Looking to prove itself as a genuine top-four contender, Fremantle will visit Geelong at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Dockers improved to 5-1 in Round 6 by overcoming Carlton 97-62 at Optus Stadium, led by Andrew Brayshaw’s 27-disposal, eight-tackle, seven-clearance performance and Will Brodie’s 27-disposal, one-goal display.
As such, Fremantle is enjoying its strongest start to a season since 2015 and now holds the league’s second-best defensive record, conceding 61.5 points per contest.
That defence will be put to the test by Geelong’s second-ranked attack, which is averaging 100.0 points per match.
That number was boosted by the Cats’ dominant 121-61 victory over North Melbourne in Hobart last weekend, during which Jeremy Cameron cashed in to kick seven goals.
