The Cats are tracking more than nicely, after five wins on the bounce. With a healthy percentage and just four points behind ladder leaders Port Adelaide heading into Round 16, Chris Scott will be eyeing off the minor premiership as his side’s biggest short-term goal. And with a healthy percentage, at $5 in that market they could represent some value for punters. There’s question marks over the fitness of Joel Selwood, Zach Tuohy and Rhys Stanley, though, and Scott might opt to not risk them if 50-50.
The Bombers are struggling at the back-end of the season, and have now notched just one win in their last seven games. They’re reeling from the injury to star midfielder Andrew McGrath against West Coast, who will be replaced by one of Mitch Hibberd, Brayden Ham, Tom Cutler or Kobe Mutch for this one. More positively though, despite not having played for over a year a fortnight ago, Joe Daniher is “a big chance to play on Sunday” according to coach John Worsfold, in what would be his third game in just 11 days.
