Collingwood’s seven-goal final quarter, coming back from being 29-points down against the Tigers to just about put a full stop on Richmond’s season was truly some of the best football the Pies have played all year.

Richmond one week, Carlton the next, it’ll basically constitute that season 2021 was a good one for the Magpies if that’s the case.

Carlton kicked 1-5 in the first half against Geelong last week for a total of 5-14 in a horrible and wasteful display by the Blues. Sam Walsh getting 35 disposals was a good result for anyone who had him in a Multi or Supercoach but that was about it.

If the Magpies can play as they did in the last quarter against the Tigers, rather than the defensive chipping style that’s kept them in contests, they are every chance to give the Blues a touch-up.
