The Cats can inch their way closer to the top four with a win over the struggling Crows on Saturday.

Geelong hit back with a convincing win over Port Adelaide last week, and they’ll now put their undefeated record at GMHBA on the line against an Adelaide side that hasn’t won at The Cattery since 2003.

To their credit, the Crows probably deserved to beat the Saints last week.

As we’ve seen all season, Adelaide played a plucky brand of footy to lead through three quarters, but they were eventually over-run in the final term by Max King’s brilliance.

Failing to see out the game has become a problem for the Crows, which certainly won’t fly against a Geelong outfit that has been one of the toughest teams to score against all year.

It wouldn’t be surprising if Tom Hawkins or Jeremy Cameron kicks a bag, and although the Crows might keep this tight early, a win in a very tricky environment seems unlikely.
