Preview:
The Saints kept their slim finals hopes alive with a last gasp win against the Dockers last weekend. They will need other results to go their way to have a chance of a miracle finals berth, but it all starts with winning their game against Carlton on Saturday afternoon.
A bit of the shine has gone off the Blues the past fortnight, with losses to West Coast and Richmond. Those two sides are the Grand Final fancies, so 24 and 28-point defeats are far from embarrassing for a Carlton side that had won four of its previous five games.
St Kilda has dominated the head-to-head matchup, winning five in a row dating back to 2015. In a low-scoring match in round 10, the Saints got home by 13 points.
The Blues have been money at the line all season long, amassing a 13-7 record. The Saints are just 8-12 against the spread but are 7-4 straight up at Marvel Stadium, where they play their best footy. The Wolf is backing the red, white and black to get home in a must-win game that will be a shootout between two teams finding their feet late this season.
