After a fine start to the season, Wanderers have scraped together just one win and one draw from their last nine games. They dropped their last two to the Roar (2-1) and Phoenix (2-0). The Glory are on the opposite path, going on a five-match winning streak after collecting just one victory from their first seven games.
Perth’s 3-0 rout of Adelaide last week gave them their fourth clean sheet in five games, during which time they have racked up 17 goals. Bruno Fornaroli has scored four times in the Glory’s last three games.
The Glory are unbeaten in their last six against Wanderers, winning three. But the two encounters from that run in Sydney finished in a draw. Perth prevailed 2-0 at home a month ago, scoring a goal in each half.
