City smashed their crosstown rivals twice this season, with score lines of 6-0 and 7-0 in the two encounters. Victory produced their best performance of the season against Western United last week, however, they’re going to be in for a reality check against a side that has dominated them over the past two seasons.

City had their ten game unbeaten run ended by Brisbane on Tuesday but there shouldn’t be many concerns, with City fielding an incredibly young side against the Roar. They’ll be much closer to a full-strength side as they look to beat their rivals for a third time this season.
