Melbourne City remain in second spot after going through January unbeaten. They played out a scoreless draw against the in-form Glory last Saturday.
The home side has lost only twice in these teams’ last 13 encounters. Melbourne City grabbed a 2-1 home victory earlier this season. But Adelaide can take plenty of confidence from last season’s 1-0 finals win and a 4-0 drubbing in the FFA Cup final, both at Hindmarsh Stadium.
Adelaide have won four of their last six at home this season, while City boast a decent 3-2-2 away record. Melbourne City are the more well-rounded team, but at Hindmarsh Stadium I’m tipping Adelaide to finally move off zero in their draws column.
