The Tigers and Rabbits get things going in round 15 at Bankwest Stadium, with the Bunnies desperate to avoid their third straight loss and the Tigers hoping a win will lift them into the top eight. Last time out, Wests secured a dramatic 27-26 golden point win in Townsville, while a decimated Bunnies outfit lost 19-18 to the Panthers.

Adam Reynolds’ return for Souths is huge, while centre Braidon Burns is back for his first game since round 3. They join a host of other regulars back in the first team including Origin players Damien Cook, Cameron Murray and Dane Gagai. Sam and Tom Burgess have been named as reserves after undergoing surgery for niggling injuries just a few weeks ago. For the Tigers, veteran Chris Lawrence is back in the starting team, with Ben Matulino out.

Souths have won three of the past four against Wests, including a 32-16 win in round 11 this season. On that night at ANZ Stadium, a fast start from the Bunnies saw them race out to a 14-0 lead before two Tigers tries drew them within two nearing the main break. But 72 per cent completions and 10 penalties conceded by the Tigers was their undoing, so they will need to clean up their discipline if they are a chance on Thursday night. They are winless at Bankwest Stadium after losing to the Eels at the ground in their only visit. This is the strongest the Souths squad has been in some time and The Wolf knows how impactful Adam Reynolds can be when he’s firing.
