Preview:

The Roosters and Knights will be glad to welcome back a number of key players for their afternoon match at the SCG on Saturday afternoon.

The Chooks are coming off a 15-12 loss to the Cowboys as 12-point favourites in an afternoon to forget in Gosford last weekend. The Knights played an equally as flat game against the Dogs, losing by six points at home. In their round 11 clash in the Hunter, the Knights crushed the Roosters 38-12 in a statement performance from the Novocastrians.

James Tedesco and Boyd Cordner are both back for the Chooks as they name their strongest side in a number of weeks. They are just 5-5 in their past 10 games but still hold a game advantage on fifth placed Manly in the standings. The Knights welcome Kalyn Ponga back as one of four inclusions.

The Chooks are 4-4 against the spread in home games this season, while the Knights are 4-3 on the road. Despite their shortfalls recently, the Roosters still average the second most points in the comp at 23.2 per game, with the Knights sixth at 20.9.

If the weather cooperates, The Wolf thinks we could be in for a high scoring game at the SCG. The Knights and the points is the way to go as the Chooks may struggle to gel after having so many players come in and out of the side in recent weeks.
