One of the biggest mismatches of the season takes place on Sunday when the top four placed Roosters host the Dogs at the SCG. It’s been a poor Origin period so far for the reigning champs, who have lost two on the trot. With a trip to Adelaide to play the Storm next round, they will want to lock up two points against the Dogs. Canterbury just can’t seem to get the job done this season, losing to Canberra last round and then being crushed by the out of form Dragons to the tune of 36-12 last Monday.
Latrell Mitchell and Angus Crichton are back for the Chooks after resting against the Panthers, with Victor Radley taking over at hooker for Sam Verrills. For the Dogs, new signing Dallin Watene-Zelezniak makes his debut in the centres, while Corey Harawira-Naera comes back after a stint in reserve grade.
The Tri-colours has saluted in their past four games against the Dogs, but three of those matches were decided by six points or less. The Wolf expects them to come out breathing fire on Sunday afternoon and despite not fielding their strongest side, its nearly impossible to mount a case to back the limited Dogs.
