Melbourne Storm vs Canberra Raiders Preview

Betting suggests that the most one-sided match of the round will come up between the Storm and the Raiders in Melbourne on Saturday afternoon, and understandably so.

It is fair to say that Melbourne haven’t been at their best this season, but they’ve dealt with some serious injuries and long-term omissions, and it’s impressive that they still finished the regular season in fifth.

The Raiders’ resurgence really has been something to behold. For the first eight or ten weeks of the comp, they loomed as a genuine wooden spoon threat, but their ability to sneak home more often than not, coupled will the fall of clubs like Manly and Brisbane, saw them sneak into the eight.

Have the Raiders run out of luck? I think so. This is a do-or-die clash, and I just cannot imagine a club with Melbourne’s skill and experience at this point of the season being eliminated immediately.

In my opinion, this looks the opportunity to pump up our odds with a Same Game Multi.

Same Game Multi selections:

  • Storm (-8.5)
  • David Nofoaluma Anytime Try
  • Justin Olam Anytime Try
