Preview:

Two sides in the bottom four meet on Friday night when the Titans host the Warriors. After last weekend’s 26-18 upset win against the Broncos, the Titans have been forced into a couple of changes. Kevin Proctor and hard man Keegan Hipgrave are both out of this one, with Bryce Cartwright and Tyrone Peachey in the back row. In their first game without half back Ash Taylor, the Titans played some inspired footy, looking the better side for much of their match in Brisbane. The Warriors weren’t so impressive last weekend, leaking 32 points to the Melbourne Storm on their way to a 22-point loss.

The good news for New Zealand is they have an incredibly impressive record against the Titans. They have won 15 of their past 17 games against the Titans, including seven of the past eight matches between the sides played at Cbus Super Stadium. Their lone away loss in that span did come last season though, in a 36-12 Titans hammering. Despite making the third fewest errors of any side this season, the Warriors are lacking punch in attack, as evidenced by the usually free flowing side ranking 11th for points scored.

Little separates these two sides odds wise, but there is no doubt the Titans are playing the better footy at present. There are whispers that some in the Warriors camp have contracted gastro earlier this week, so there could be some late changes to the team or underdone players. The Titans will fancy themselves and The Wolf sees them shortening before kick off.
