They might be the most unconvincing team of the lot, but given their less-than favourable run home, we’re about to learn plenty about Cronulla’s finals credentials over the coming weeks.

It all starts this week in The Shire with the Titans in town, Jim Lenihan’s side coming off a tough loss to the Warriors last week that saw them play the better part of 60 minutes a man down.

The Sharks, on the other hand, picked up a much-needed win over the Rabbitohs in upset fashion, and spirits should be high with star winger Ronaldo Mulitalo due to return from a jaw problem.

The Titans will also receive a boost with big Tino coming back into the side, but the absence of Moeaki Fotuaika and potentially, AJ Brimson, is a big blow for a club still competing for a finals berth.

This is the first time these two sides have met this year, but recent history suggests it could be tight.

The last two encounters have been decided by no more than eight points, while the Titans sport a handy 5-2 record in their last seven games as the away underdog.

Surprisingly, the Sharks have been a better team on the road than they have been at home this year, and they do run the risk of overlooking the horribly out of form Titans in a game they need to win.
