Finding form is crucial at this time of year, and that’s exactly what Kevin Walters and the Broncos have accomplished in recent weeks.

A sixth straight win over the Cowboys will do wonders for Brisbane’s confidence, followed nicely by a well-timed game against an Eels side struggling to keep opponents off the scoreboard.

As it stands, the 9th placed Eels can still sneak a spot inside the eight, but giving up 46 points to the Storm a fortnight ago – and worse, 20 to the lowly Dragons last week – is hardly a recipe for finals football.

Brisbane and Parramatta have been the two highest-scoring sides in the competition, so the Over does rate a smart play in this one – especially with the Eels averaging 29 points to opponents over the last month.
