The Gold Coast Titans will still be having nightmares about their Round 7 result. Two competition points were there for the taking but Justin Holbrook’s men tried to leave at halftime which gave a fast-finishing Rabbitohs outfit the opportunity to complete the 40-30 comeback. Sleeplessness may also be an issue for the Brisbane Broncos. Poor again, they crumbled after a somewhat promising start to lose 46-6 to the Eels.

Kevin Walters continues to shuffle the halves around with Anthony Milford and Tyson Gamble replacing Tom Dearden and Brodie Croft. David Mead has also been dropped for Jesse Arthars. Patrick Herbert is out for the Titans but Anthony Don’s return to the wing allows Phillip Sami to move into the centres.

The Brisbane Broncos are a different team at Suncorp Stadium. If they play like they did against the Panthers in Round 6 and throughout the first 20 minutes of Round 7, we could be in for an upset. The Titans struggle to slow down teams on a roll. While the Broncos attack leaves A LOT to be desired, their middle can surge up the field. Tyson Gamble’s inclusion in the halves should help the right-edge defence too. There is value in the Broncos at home.
