The Bullets were impressive against the Hawks in Round 1 and get a chance to take their season record to 2-0 when they host last season’s Wooden Spooners on Friday night.
Lamar Patterson showed us more of the same as he poured in 25 points along with eight rebounds, while Nathan Sobey (17 points) did as expected in his Bullets debut.
Hoping for a far better season than last, the Taipans got off to a flier against the title-fancied Kings.
However, they couldn’t quite get the job done as their scoring dried up in the fourth quarter and they were overrun by Bogut and the Kings.
This Friday night fixture isn’t going to break and viewing or attendance records and the Wolf believes it’ll also be a low-scoring affair.
The Taipans are a long and athletic team that will stop a lot of opposition offences from scoring heavily, but they’ll also struggle to score the ball themselves.
