Preview:

The Dogs need to beat the Crows on Sunday in Ballarat to guarantee their spot in the finals and they’re odds on to do just that. The Crows have lost four of their past five games and while they’re still a chance of playing finals, they’ll need other results to go their way if they are to make an unlikely September appearance.

A 61-point thumping of GWS gave the Dogs a much needed four points and percentage boost ahead of this match and as winners of three of their past five games, they bring good form into this game.

The Crows fell flat in a must-win game against Collingwood, losing by 11 goals.

This is their first match at Ballarat’s Mars Stadium, where the Dogs are 2-2 all time, but beat the Lions at the country Victorian ground by 16 points earlier this season.

Overall the Dogs are 13-8 covering the handicap, with the Crows just 9-12. Adelaide are a sinking ship The Wolf is happy to jump off and the Dogs should have no trouble accounting for them at their new home away from home.
