St Kilda Saints vs Port Adelaide Power Preview

Yet again Port Adelaide has been exposed as a team that associates itself as INXS but is really just The Pretenders.

After another loss to a fellow top-eight side, many question Port’s chances to make top 4 and win a premiership.

St Kilda is not a top eight side, but they currently sit ninth on the ladder, have won their past three games and have really taken a turn from the doom and gloom we were all talking about a month ago.

The Saints percentage isn’t great so to play finals they really need to chalk up the wins, and with five of their next six opponents all in the top eight they need to win at least four of them, based on current form, that’s more than possible.

While St Kilda hasn’t been the punters friend in season 2021, I’m willing to give them another chance.

The Saints have been playing better footy than Port Adelaide in recent weeks, are on a roll and back home at Marvel.

I’ll take them for the win outright.
