Preview:

The Tigers and Lions both play back to back matches against fellow top four sides as they clash on Sunday afternoon. Richmond last week got the better of the Eagles by a goal, while the Lions snuck home by a point against the Cats.

The flag favourite Tigers have won eight on the trot, while the Lions have taken nine in a row, with both sides undefeated since the bye.

This matchup is a far cry from their last meeting in round four last season, where the Tigers won by 93 points and the Lions booted just two goals.

Brisbane will relish their chance to test their game at the ‘G, where they have played just once this season, losing by 47 points to the Bombers.

The Wolf thinks this will be a finals preview and while the Lions don’t need to win for a top two finish, they will want to keep it respectable and they’ll do just that, but it’s hard to look past the Tigers at the MCG, where they’ve won 10 times and lost just twice in 2019.
