Port Adelaide vs Essendon Bombers Preview
Things aren’t about to get any easier for the struggling Bombers this week in Adelaide.
After losing the Dreamtime clash to the Tigers last week, the Dons now take a trip down south to face a Power outfit they haven’t beaten since 2018.
Port’s midseason comeback has been impressive to say the least, and even though they fell short to the Cats last week in Geelong, a bounce-back win could leave them just four points shy of a spot back in the eight.
Aside from the ladder, there’s plenty of promising news on the Orazio Fantasia front, while the likes of Riley Bonner, Xavier Duursma and Charlie Dixon are all a chance at returning this week.
As for the Bombers, there’s concerns around Matt Guelfi, but after being belted inside 50 last week by the Tigers, it’s fair to say a win this week on the road looks unlikely.
