Sitting 18th and 16th on the ladder respectively after the opening five rounds, Port Adelaide and West Coast will meet at the Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon.
The Power fell to 0-5 for the first time in club history through last weekend’s heartbreaking 94-91 loss to Carlton at the MCG, which saw them come up just short of overturning a 50-point deficit.
Port Adelaide has now lost three matches by a margin of under two goals this season.
West Coast didn’t come quite as close to victory during Round 5, instead suffering a humiliating 121-58 loss to Sydney at home.
That result saw the Eagles fail to score until 17 minutes into the second quarter and marked their largest losing margin in Perth since Round 23, 2013.
The latest head-to-head matchup between these sides came in Round 3, 2021, seeing West Coast claim a 108-71 victory at Optus Stadium, led by Andrew Gaff’s 36-disposal display.
