A bottom four clash looms large on Saturday with both clubs looking to put a disappointing season behind them.

West Coast’s upset over the Dogs last week has suddenly left North Melbourne as the frontrunners in the Harley Reid sweepstakes, while the Suns will be looking to prove a point in their final game before Damien Hardwick takes over the reins next year.

Not surprisingly, North has been one of the easiest teams to score against all season, not that the Suns need any reminding.

Gold Coast prevailed by 43 points when they met back in April, Ben King kicking five with the likes of Lachie Weller and Noah Anderson enjoying a big share of the footy.

The Suns are also looking to build on a strong first half performance last week against the Blues, another game that saw them blow a healthy lead in the late stages.

Scoring-wise, Gold Coast has had no problem finding goals over the last fortnight, booting 13 against both Sydney and Carlton.

Down the other end, though, the Suns have been vulnerable in their back half, evident in the fact they rank seventh in inside 50 entries allowed.

With Nick Larkey kicking another bag last week in the loss to Richmond, this has all the makings of a high-scoring game down south.
