Greater Western Sydney Giants vs Carlton Blues Preview

Like that of my tipping state, Carlton has also been subject to an internal review.

One can only assume that Blues coach David Teague has the full support of the board.

It’s fair to say had it not been for that last quarter fightback which resulted in a draw, the Giants would also be subject to a review and that Leon Cameron would have the full support of the board.

To be honest, this is a bloody hard game to tip.

I really don’t know which GWS or Carlton is going to turn up on Saturday night.

It’s every chance we’ll get the good Giants and Carlton living up to their potential for at least a quarter each, which should make this game somewhat entertaining.

GWS is still a chance to make the eight, and those split premiership points might just come in handy later on in the year.

I’ll back the Giants as this game is being played on their home ground and, on paper, they are a better time than the Blues.

Carlton should have a crack and keep the Giants in touching distance so the 1-24 point margin for a GWS win is excellent value.

Take it or leave it.
