Fremantle Dockers vs Sydney Swans Preview
Having restricted their opponent’s scoring throughout the first half of the 2022 season, the Fremantle Dockers have clearly changed their style of play in recent weeks.
Justin Longmuir’s side was playing a high possession, keepings off style of football early in the season which restricted the scoring of the opposition which frustrated most team’s out of the contest.
This had not been the case recently and he is preparing his side perfectly for finals football.
The Swans bounced back from a disappointing loss to the Bombers in a big way when they beat St Kilda at home last weekend.
It was a real litmus test for a team that was teetering on the fringe of the top eight and they passed with flying colours.
Fremantle have won seven of their last eight games at Optus Stadium but in saying that, the value lies with the Swans in my opinion.
