Geelong sit a top the AFL ladder through 17 rounds of football after recording their seventh win in a row against the defending premiers Melbourne last Thursday evening.

Carlton has been inconsistent in recent weeks, but they showed plenty of grit and determination in their win over West Coast in Perth on the weekend.

Charlie Curnow and Harry Mckay kicked five goals apiece against the Eagles and they are sure to give the Cats some headaches on Saturday night.
