Wests Tigers get the opportunity to hand the Penrith Panthers their first loss of the season when the two clubs clash at Leichardt Oval on Friday night.

They remain 13th in overall standings, but there is no doubt that the Tigers have been an improved side throughout the last few weeks, recording wins over the Knights and the Dragons to go along with a tight loss to the Warriors.

They strike a Penrith side who have obviously been the league’s benchmark all season, but who will be without Brian To’o, Jarome Luai, Nathan Cleary, Isaah Yeo, Liam Martin, Kurt Capewell and potentially Api Koroisau.
