You’re not surprising anybody this NRL season, Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles. The expectations have been set, and they’re high. Really high. This is a premiership contending team if they can remain healthy. With Tom and Jake Trbojevic along with Addin Fonua-Blake all named to play on Sunday, the Sea Eagles are coming into 2020 at close to full-strength. They open their season against a Melbourne Storm side without Nelson Asofa-Solomona and Brandon Smith.
The Storm forward pack is a little thin by their standards with the new centres pairing of Justin Olam and Marion Seve also carrying question marks. A trip to Brookvale Oval is tough enough without having to juggle injuries and new combinations.
The two teams match up closely on paper. It’s only the home ground advantage that separates them here.
