One of the toughest matches to call this round comes from the Shire, when the Sharks host the Bunnies.
Both teams are coming off narrow wins last weekend, with Souths winning at the bell against the Dragons after trailing in the final minute. A Campbell Graham try in the corner gifted them a 20-16 win and kept them comfortably inside the top eight.
Cronulla walked all over the Cows in the second half to get up by two points, their first win in more than a month. They are now just a game outside the top eight. Andrew Fifita is named to start after his suspension, with Matt Moylan back at full back. Wade Graham is a huge inclusion for the Sharks, named in the starting line up after missing time with a hamstring. The Bunnies have named Sam Burgess for the first time in weeks, with Liam Knight back on the interchange bench after serving a suspension.
The Sharks have been fairly woeful in recent times, but the inclusion of Graham is sure to steady the ship for them. The Wolf isn’t ready to back them in as narrow outsiders against one of the competition’s best. Souths are in the top four for points scored and points conceded, showing they’re the real deal. Neither of these sides are much good against the spread, with Souths marginally better at 7-1-10 and the Sharks at 6-1-11. Take the Bunnies to get home narrowly.
