Preview:

The Dogs host their first game at Bankwest Stadium when they play Penrith on Saturday afternoon. Canterbury is coming off a 20-12 loss to the Roosters and after trailing 14-0 at half-time, held their own in the second stanza with a huge share of possession.

They will look to upset finals hopefuls Penrith, who suffered their first loss in eight starts when they were outclassed 30-18 against Canberra last Sunday.

Neither side has elected to make any changes to their 17-man line up for this one, which is unusual, especially for the Dogs.

The Panthers have won four of five against the Dogs, with their last meeting way back in round 8 last season, with Penrith winning 22-14. They have won their only match at Bankwest Stadium against the Eels in round 11 by six points.

Neither side lights up the scoreboard, but with the Panthers scoring four points more per game and giving up four less points, all signs point to a Penrith win. Look for their halves to have too much time on the ball inside the 20 and to make it count this week against a flimsy Dogs defence.
