Western Bulldogs vs Essendon Bombers Preview
The Western Bulldogs can pretty much put the Bomber’s finals hopes to an end if they are able to get the job done at Marvel Stadium on Sunday.
Bevo’s boys sit on top of the ladder and did it easy over the Crows in Ballarat last week with a dozen Bulldogs players sharing the sausage rolls with young gun Jamarra Ugle-Hagan, Josh Bruce, and Jason Johannisen being the only players to score multiples.
It was a real tick all the boxes win and Sunday presents a perfect opportunity for the Dogs to remain sitting on top and havin’ a laugh.
There’s still plenty to like about Essendon and they lost no admirers last week against Sydney.
The close loss has made it extremely difficult for the Dons finals chances, but they are still in the hunt and it seems that each week a different contender Bradbury’s themselves into the eighth position on the ladder.
I just can’t see an upset here, the Western Bulldogs have won their past six against the Dons and despite being a co-tenant, the Dogs under the roof at Marvel is one of the toughest assignments in footy right now.
I’ll back the Doggies to cover.
