West Coast can really stamp their authority as the biggest flat-track bullies in the AFL by returning to Perth after a humiliating defeat in Geelong (against the Swans) and belting 18th placed North Melbourne.

There’s been plenty said and written about the Eagles performance this week but it was best summed up by the front page of Monday’s West Australian – PUTRID.

With a talented and much hyped-up list, the Eagles have been proven underachievers, and beating North won’t prove anything.

North actually hasn’t been too bad in recent weeks and the signs are there that the Kangas are on the right track.

The line on offer is 26.5 in favor of West Coast and I reckon, all things considered, North can cover it.

If the Eagles don’t belt the Kangaroos, or heaven forbid, lose then things will really get heated out West.
