Instead of a blockbuster, we’ve got what we like to call a Mystery match on the cards this Friday night between the Saints and the Blues.

Two of the AFL’s Jekyll and Hyde teams will take to Marvel Stadium and we will wait to see what versions of St Kilda and Carlton will turn up on the night.

The Saints are very much in the finals mix and took it to West Coast last Saturday with big Maxy King kicking six.

While they didn’t get the four premiership points, St Kilda’s post-mid-season bye resurgence remains on track.

Something that isn’t on track is the Teague Train.

Carlton got belted by 18th placed North Melbourne last week and while it’s still possible for the Blues to play finals according to the AFL ladder predictor, it’s just not going to happen for David Teague and his men.

Should the Blues win on Friday, it would just simply delay the inevitable regarding the future employment prospects of their coach.

What I am looking forward to in this game is the two big blokes on either end of the ground kicking a few sausage rolls.

I’ve gone with a Same Game Multi to kick off the round, we’ll back the Saints at 1-39 as the first, big Harry McKay to kick 2+ goals for the Blues and 3+ from Maxy King for St Kilda.

That sounds about right.
