Preview:
The Western Bulldogs’ mediocre percentage was given a huge boost last round as they pumped the Bombers by 96 points to get to 100+ percentage points, which could be crucial in the run home as they hunt a finals berth.
GWS is all but assured a finals spot but haven’t been playing their best footy in recent times. Narrow wins against Port and Sydney were followed by a baffling 56-point loss to Hawthorn in Canberra last Friday. The Giants managed just four goals in that one.
The over has hit in six of GWS’ seven games at Giants Stadium, while they have won four of their past five against the Dogs at all venues. The teams last met way back in round 1, 2018 in Canberra, with the Giants prevailing by 14 goals.
The Wolf senses this game will be a lot closer, with GWS eager to bounce back from last week’s loss and the Dogs fighting for their finals life. In an upset, the Dogs will string consecutive wins together and stay in contention.
